As we look into the eyes of our children we can see joy, sadness, trust, excitement, aggravation, disappointment, thoughtfulness, consideration, pondering, wondering, seeking, and hoping.
What does tomorrow hold for them?
Will they marry?
Will they have children?
Will they have strong convictions based on God's Word?
What will America be like for them?
What will the children of America grow up to be like?
Has our nation "under God" shown them God at all? Will we prove to them that we do care what tomorrow will be like for them? Do we desire for them to experience the freedom we have experienced for many years in the gift we have of worshipping our God no matter where or when? Will we cast our vote based on the standard of God's Word? Because "truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven." And yes, "The Lord will give what is good, and our land will yield its increase." There is no doubt that "Righteousness shall go before Him, and shall make His footsteps our pathway."
The question is, will we follow? In obedience to Him, but also for.... them.
